This family started its journey in Faisalabad, Pakistan led by Ghulam Rasool and his brother Mohammad Ali engaging in Labor Services at various industries. In 1973, elder son of Ghulam Rasool, Muhammad Ramzan started getting in to Flour Industry. In the year 1976 this family acquired 10% shares of Rehman Flour Mills in Faisalabad under the supervision of Muhammad Ramzan. After four years, 40% shares of Faisal Flour Mills, Vehari were acquired which were sold later on in 1982 due to Government Interference in to this industry that led to the big crisis for this sector.

In 1984, this family made its first major investment on flour milling and acquired 50% shares of Dawood Flour Mills, and then in 1987, they partnered Haji Gull Muhammad to get the hold of Shaheen Flour Mills in Faisalabad. Later on, in 1988, this family purchased another Flour Mill with 100% shares, known as Asghar Flour Mills. Farrukh Flour Mills was setup in 1996 by the courtesy of the experience which Muhammad Ramzan and his brothers had earned so far in this sector. In the year 1999, Vita Flour Mills was purchased and started its production in three months time after quick renovation.

The sudden death of Muhammad Ali, was a low point for this family and resulted in to a division of four Milling units to the sons of Ghulam Rasool and Muhammad Ali equally in 2001.
Muhammad Ramzan, and his brothers, after taking up the charge of Farrukh Flour Mills (Pvt) Ltd and Vita Flour Mills (Pvt) Ltd, worked hard in order to offer its increasing products and brands both to the domestic consumers and consumers abroad. Then the idea of GRAS emerged, formally known as Ghulam Rasool and Sons. In the year 2002, they had almost tripled the total elevator capacity. Based on the nutritional requirements of the Flour, Quality Food Labs were introduced to maintain the quality of the flour considering the health standards. As a result, Farrukh Flour Mills was awarded most of the superior quality certificates such as: HACCP, GMP, ISO 9001-2000.

In the year 2005, this group came up with an idea of making an investment in to Poultry Feed Domain. Though, it was a complete different sector and a big diversification but the freshness of next generation of this family was injected to this and resulted into the founding of Fast Feed (pvt) Ltd.
